Huge Commission in 2012 >>

In January, I completed my biggest commission — and my biggest painting ever!. As you can see, it's a portrait of a bison and it measured 60 x 60." It was great fun to do -- very physical! Here's a shot of me standing next to the painting just before the clients came with their U-haul to take it home.

Capturer of Souls<< New Permanent Collection!

My painting, "Capturer of Souls" (shown below) has become part of the permanent collection of the View Arts Center in Old Forge, New York! I am thrilled as this is my first permanent collection outside of New England and that feels like a big step in my career. Many thanks to Krissa Johnson and Gail Parker for making this happen.

As Seen in Northern Woodlands Magazine

My painting, Earth Keeper Series: Snowshow Hare will be in the Winter 2010 issue of Northern Woodlands magazine. I've been a fan of this wonderful publication for many years -- so it's quite an honor. For more information about this great magazine for landowners and forest lovers, click here.

Grass-fed Beef article in April 2010 issue of New Hampshire Magazine:

Here's a link in case you missed it. It's a piece I wrote and illustrated about growing grass-fed beef cattle in New Hampshire. Let me know what you think!

daylikenoother-lo.jpgNew Hampshire Home Illustration:

I'm very happy wth the way my piece looked in the November 2009 issue of New Hampshire Home Magazine! I was quite honored to be able to illustrate the lovely essay by Sy Montgomery, who has had a big influence in my life -- she was not only my journalism professor in grad school but also helped me get my first post-grad job at the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. I consider her a dear friend and of course, an amazing writer and naturalist.

EVEN Older but Still Cool News:

WMUR-TV featured me on an episode of “New Hampshire Chronicle”which aired Wednesday, May 21, 2008. How cool is that? I'm now officially multi-media. Tiffany Eddy came to my studio and interviewed me about my work and life. Quite a thrill! See it by clicking here.

And if that wasn't cool enough, in May 2008 New Hampshire Magazine named me one of their “Renaissance Women" for 2008. Here's a pdf of the piece. Thanks to Rick Broussard and Susan Laughlin for making me sound and look so good! It was quite an honor and I am in some great company.
